I start on Monday and I'm pretty hyped! The school is having an open house tonight too! I'm going to a brand new school and I'll be one of the first people to ever be a student there!

I’m homeschooled so I never got the chance to know what “real” school is like except when I was in preschool XD
Meh school is ok
the weird thing is that I never put hardly any work into school and I still score above my grade XD

Everything depends on a set of exams you take at the end of secondary school (and also college, if you decide to stay in education). It doesn't matter how hard you've worked across the year, or how intelligent you are. If you have a bad day on your exam, you're screwed. These grades will stay on your CV for the rest of your life - they will affect your future career, university applications, etc. There's so much pressure during these exam seasons and the stress can be really unhealthy (mentally and physically). You get the warped perception that the only thing that matters is a bunch of letters of a piece of paper :(
Because of the importance of these exams, at school, you don't learn about your subject - you are trained to pass a specific exam on that subject. After studying French for two years, I couldn't have a conversation but I could recite a 500 word French essay from memory because that was what was required to pass my exam -_- It's so stupid.
I miss when I was younger, when school was about learning, not exams. I don't think the exams here are a good measure of your aptitude for a subject (if they were, I wouldn't have got a decent grade in French, jeez.) Apart from the exams, I love school and getting to see my friends every day. Sorry this became so much of a rant, I think it belongs more on the agony aunt board :P
Also, this is random, but I've heard that in Finland students get barely any homework. Why can't my school be like that? XD

It depended on the school for me. I hated high school, but thrived once I got into college. I just finished a two-year healthcare professional program, so I'm off to the job market. No more school for me!! ![]()

Second, I've never been to any public school before.
So I'm going to say school is okay. I get pumped every year right before it starts and then two weeks in, I want it to be summer XD.
I don't think of school as a building. I think of it as papers and pencils. I don't see friends every day, mainly because I only have two and smell cousins lol.
So I don't mind my school. The routine is nice. But the school can be too much, especially math XD. But yeah, this is kind of a rant, so I'm gonna stop writing XD

Hi! School's coming up really fast if you haven't already started. I was wondering are you really excited or dreading it? And for the adults... I dunno I guess just pretend if you were to go back to school
I start on Monday and I'm pretty hyped! The school is having an open house tonight too! I'm going to a brand new school and I'll be one of the first people to ever be a student there!
Well, considering I decided to voluntarily go back into a school for 40+ hours per week probably for the next 40 years of my life (I've done 11 so far...), you can guess that I liked it lol. Mixed feeling about going back in September.... I *do* like my summer holiday... but new classes, getting to see everyone again, all the activities and trips and stuff.... yeah I'm kind of looking forward to it.

The only time I like school is before winter break and the last day! And when it’s the day before Halloween (like the Friday before) so we have off on the actual day!
Other than that, jail has cells on each side of the hallway and school has lockers and classrooms on each side. Can you spot the difference? Nah.
Some people say after you graduate you’ll want to be back but I don’t know man. I feel like I’d laugh at all the kids suffering through school and I’ll be thinking “heck yes, no more school for me!”

I always liked going to school. Even when we were given a lot of assignments. Very often I had to write essays. And sometimes I just didn't have time and after long reviews I found https://www.topwritersreview.com/reviews/pro-essay-writer/. Where I found help in writing. Now when I study at university I keep asking for help. And so I'm still doing well in my studies.
