Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been active for a little, I've been sick and taking a break, but now I'm better. As I said I was going to make a new story after I ended the other one so here it is!
Blinding white. That's all I saw for a few days. And then one day, I realized it wasn't white anymore. I was lying with my eyes closed beside a furry thing. I slowly opened my eyes, and everything hit me like lightning. The rough feel of the bedding beneath me, the cries of my siblings, the squeak of my mom, the shouts of the humans, the smell of the tasteless food, the cold of the metal bars on my shoulder, and so on. I looked around. I was in a tiny Crittertrail that had bars all around. It was a sickly pink colour. I was opposite of the clear pink wheel. That wheel is the size of me, I thought. I was lying by my mama's back, my siblings whining and trying to stand up. "Calm down, kids. I'm going to grab some food for you now." My mama said and wobbled over to the food bowl piled high with bland pellets. She brought the pellets back to us, and with great difficulty, we managed to get them down our throats. "Okay, I'm going to name you guys. You..." She pointed to me," are going to be named Sapphire." She pointed to a shy cream coloured sibling, "You are Amber." Next, she pointed to the two goofball twins I always played with, "And you two are Iris and Ivy." Hmm... Sapphire. That doesn't really go with my white and grey coat... but I really like it. Me and my siblings then played together. The same schedule went on for days. I would wake up, mama would give me food, and then I played with my siblings and went to sleep. But one day was different. A week after I had been born, I was eating when a door in our cage opened. A scary hand reached in and grabbed my mama. "Mommy, mommy!" Me and my siblings shouted. "Children... I think it's time for me to go. I love you guys, and I wish you a good life!" My mom said hurriedly, scrambling in the hand. And just like that, she was gone. The last thing I heard of my mother was, "She's barely alive, won't be able to produce any more hamsters. Let's dump her and get a new one." I hope you enjoyed! Next chapter will be out soon.
