Hi guys!

(btw sax, means saxophone)

I have met a few ppl on here that play alto sax (just like me), like bing bong :)

Anyways, I thought I would record me playing something!

Here I am playing "Creatures In the Attic" By Brian Balmages.

I am playing it for a winter concert soon...

so I practice a lot! 30 mins, all most everyday of the week...

I am only playing the Sax part, so it sounds ok.

Wanna listen to it?

YT LINK HERE

Here are 2 clips (it was 2 long for one whole clip)

You're sounding pretty good!

How long have you been playing?

Obviously I can't see you playing but I want to say: make sure you aren't puffing out your cheeks at all when you play and try to keep your embrocure tight.

The main thing I've to critque is that some of your notes go a little flat at the end of them, and this can be fixed by correctly your airflow. Make sure you're sitting up straight (think sitting as if you're standing), feet flat on the ground, sheet music eye level, and take deep breaths. They're going flat at the end as the air speed isn't as high so try to play each note well (tounging!) and keep your embrocure tight. :)

tysm for the feedback!!

I have been playing since 2020, but only played like 4 easy pieces (so lets not count that lmao)

So, in 2021 - I have been playing since the beginning of the school year :)
