I promise it's a real recipe which actually tastes nice. It sounds super wierd but it's delicious.
What you'll need : coca cola, rice, onion, ham (or anything else you like, really), stock cube.
First you heat some oil in a pan with high enough edges.
You chop up the onion, and put it in.
Some time later, pour rice in, break the stock cube and put that in there too. Stir to mix the cube with the oil.
Now you wait until the rice gets kind of transparent. When it does, you pour 1 volume of coca-cola and one volume of water.
Then you cover it and keep it on low heat to let the rice absorb the water and coke.
When the rice has absorbed almost all the moisture, throw in the ham, let it heat some more, and then it's ready !
I discovered it in a french humor video, but it's actually tasty.
Edit : yesterday I accidentally created a delicious meal, so I'll share the recipe.
It's simple, all you'll need is :
- some squash or pumpkin (I used spaghetti squash, it's funny because it turns into long strings as yu cook it, but any other kind would do I think.)
- beef (I used beef heart, it was super cheap and I'd never had it before, wanted to try it.)
- mushrooms, preferably button mushrooms
- salt, pepper
So, you cut everything into small pieces (be careful cutting the squash, it's pretty firm while your fingers are not !).
Then you put a small amount of oil in a pot, and toss everything in.
Let it heat (low temperature seems to work fine), stir from time to time to prevent sticking to the pot.
Once the squash is soft, it's done !
I was afraid the beef heart would overpower everything else because it has a pretty strong taste, but it didn't. It smelled like death as it was cooking, but in the end it was really tasty. *_*
I'd recommend "normal" beef instead of beef heart unless you really like the taste of meat, though. I personally love the taste of meat, the stronger the taste the happier I'll be. :p

This is a recipe of crab rangoon/ crab cream cheese wanton that you can find in your chinese buffet place. I made it my own and it definitely taste better! It also double as dip.
1 pack of 8oz cream cheese
1 pack of wonton wrapper (you probably don't use all of it)
5 sticks of artificial crab meat (diced)
3 tbsp of spring onion diced
1 cup of sugar (can be adjusted depending on what you like)
pinch of salt
some water
Vegetable oil and pot for deep frying!
note: it will be easier if the cream cheese is in room temperature.
1. mix both cream cheese and sugar into a mixing bowl, cream both of them together. Cream cheese will double in volume and will become light and fluffy.
2. add in your salt, crab meat and your spring onions. Mix until combine.
3. take a teaspoon and scoop it into the wonton wrapper. To seal the wonton wrapper, wet your fingers with a little bit of water and dab it around the edges of the wonton skin. If you are doing this slowly and if it is very dry in you are, place a damp cloth on the wonton skin or the wonton that is already made and sitting out on a plate.
4. heat oil on medium. You can always test if it is ready for frying with a wonton skin, if it bubbles nicely you can start adding in your wonton.
5. make sure to maintain temperature of cooking. when you add a bunch of wontons into the frying oil, temperature will drop and your wonton will be oily and soggy. Do not turn up the heat as your wonton will be sitting in the pot as it gets hotter the next batch that goes in will burn. Make sure you only fry some at a time or I would put one at a time in intervals of about 2 minutes between wonton.
6. make sure wonton skin is golden brown, place a paper towel on the bottom of the plate to get rid of access oil and it is ready to be eaten!

Fixed some zucchini boats for dinner last night and they were delicious!
Ingredients:
> 2 to 3 zucchinis (1 zucchini feeds 2 people)
> 2 apples
> 1 sweet onion
> 1/4 lb sausage (sweet or unspiced. I used apple chicken sausage links bc that's what was in the fridge, but ground or pork works too. You will also not need to use a whole lot of sausage... just eyeball the proportions you want)
> sage
> Olive oil
> Fontina cheese (optional)
> Salt/pepper to taste
Process:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Chop the onion and saute on medium-low heat until translucent. While the onion cooks, slice zucchini in half long-ways and use a spoon to remove the insides (save the insides!). Place the "boats" in a foil-lined baking dish.
2. When onion is translucent, add zucchini insides and stir. Cook until excess water has evaporated and veggies are starting to brown, then move to a mixing bowl. Meanwhile, peel, core, and chop 1 large or 1 1/2 medium apples (about 1/2" cubes). Place apples in mixing bowl.
3. Cook sausage in the pan (if links, chop first) until cooked through and browning. Add sausage to mixing bowl.
4. Mix everything up then spoon it into the boats. Place sage sprigs on top and cook the zucchini boats for 30 minutes or until fork tender. Remove sage, grate cheese on top and return to the oven for a few minutes to melt. Serve hot.
