so many people ask how to do this that i thought i'd do a comprehensive picture guide.Thread Updated: July 23, 2012. I (Christmas_hamster) have updated the original thread with different pictures than purplelotus originally used and refreshed the tutorial in order to keep up with the changes.Posting pictures from the internetNote that you must seek permission from the owner of the photograph or picture before you post it up!to be followed by 'posting pictures from photo bucket'1. Find picture on the internet.0tutorial1.png2. Select the picture you want by clicking on it (if found on google).0tutorial2.png3. I keep trying to upload a photo by clicking the little 'tree' icon and pasting the URL. I press ok and then nothing happens. 

 

And it says 'you are not allowed to use that image extension...'

 

Anyone else experiencing this problem? In the past I have been able to post images without issues.

Something's changed with that. I don't think regular Imgur or Imgbb links work to post an image directly in with the text anymore.

 

With Imgbb, you could try finding the BBCode (check Embed Codes when you go to the direct image link, you don't have to have an account to do this) and just paste that directly in with your post. (It'll start and end with [img] and [/.img] w/out the .)
