I am happy today because I earned some money doing a job, found things to finish decorating my room, had some good chats with friends, and am generally in a calm, and good mood right now. It's very needed after a stressful week.

Ok so most of you probably remember this picture I took on Millie's first Birthday

Millie's Birthday! by Azayles, on Flickr
Fast forward almost a year, and Gregg's, a popular Bakers here in the UK, are doing a competition called "Great taste face" where they want you to post a picture of your face as you eat Gregg's food. The prize is a free breakfast.
So I posted this picture of late Millie enjoying her cupcake, and it WON. It ruddy well won didn't it? :P They even featured it on their timeline
And I never win anything! Totally over the moon

I'm very content right now. My AP World History test was on Thursday and I was pretty stressed out about it, but I decided that it wasn't worth worrying about (AP tests don't impact your school grade, and you don't have to include them on your college applications). Took it, it wasn't so completely horribly bad; I'm not confident that I got a passing grade, but whatever. It's over! No need to ever look inside a World History book for the rest of my high school career!
I also finished my Pre-Calculus finals on Thursday and Friday/today. They were okay, but my teacher offered 40% extra credit if we did a few hundred problems as homework, so I'm not going to fail it lol.
I'm so glad it's the weekend--finally, time to relax. This whole week has been pretty hard, I slept at about 2 every day, but the important thing is that I'm done with it. Next week is the last week of school, and also finals week, but most of my classes have either used projects as our final grades, or let us take our finals earlier.
Volunteer orientation classes for the wildlife center are next week too, so I can't wait for those

ElyseandSerenity: If you don't make a separate introductory thread and/or picture post of your new dog, I'm afraid I will have to shun you forever.
My math teacher updated our grades and I got a 117%!

But here they are (not my pics):

A 6-month old male white-faced roborovski. Been looking for a male this age for a long time so I'm really excited about this. I'm meant to be picking him up on the 25th! His name will be President Nixon, to go with my other robo President Roosevelt (Rose)!

Some baby female mice! I've had a cage set up for mice since forever, but my last adoption fell through at the last minute because of time constraints :( I'm ready for these now though. Not sure how many I'll be getting, still in talks with the girl who has them. She says they'll be ready in a week, so I'm waiting patiently

And a little fire salamander, who is unsexed and unnamed currently. I did some research on these in the past, but only the basics. So I'm trying to research like crazy now to prepare myself. I don't usually advocate last-minute research, but I want this little guy to have a good home and I feel like I could give him that. The owner hasn't replied to my message yet, so this one's not certain.
I want to go adopt a orangutan now...
Dooo itttt!
