Evil classes at school that require sewing but they don't tell you that when you sign up! :crybuckets:

So, anyway...I'm making a pillowcase, and one of those fleece no-sew blankets, and something else, but I haven't decided yet. We have to do 3 projects, with the pillowcase being required and the other 2 we get to choose. I figure the blanket will be easiest, I've already made one. :p

I actually think the pillowcase will turn out to be cool, because I love the fabric I got. We had to get 3-- a main fabric, a trim, and then the end piece. It was really hard finding 3 that matched, but I think I did it! The sad part is, everything in my room is like a blue or purple, and this pillowcase is orange and yellow.

Wellllll... I've been busy lol! Last weekend I finished making these:

~Two pillowcases to match my new comforter
~Three no-sew pillows (one I gave to a friend)
~A small-ish bright pink and orange pillow (very purdy)
~A large pillow that's blue on one side and purple on the other... I sewed blue ribbon in a plus-sign design on each side... the blue side got purple ribbon and the purple side got blue ribbon!
~And I had to sew up part of an older pillow case that ripped >.<

Funny story... when I was sewing the two new pillowcases I was just about to backstich when I looked at the fabric and thought... wait... shouldn't this be inside out...?

Then I spent about fifteen minutes with the seam ripper. blah...

Panther Shadow: What do you stuff your pillows with?

I figure to make a pillow eventually, I just don't know what to put on the inside :p.  Thanks in advanced.

Currently I am still working on my Betta Fish Cross stitching.

KB: That's very good!!!

SnW: I use this stuff called Poly-Fil. I think my mom got it at JoAnn Fabrics. I'm guessing its fairly cheap.

Lol if you want a good time, get the five pound bag. It comes in an airtight bag INSIDE a box, so you open the box and then when you open the bag all the air rushes in and its like whoooooooosh.... and it expands so much its like a foot taller than it was! Fun fun!!!
