Hello, it's me again with another trash story 
Anyways, this new story is called Promise. (not me taking the title & title cover from my previous unfinished story xD)
I suck at making a summary but this story has drama, romance, angst, real-world problems, and mature topics.
The story is rated PG-13, but I will try to limit the amount of mature content involved in this story.
I will be adding trigger warnings if there's any sensitive topics.
Okay, I know that without a summary you probably won't know what the heck you're about to read, but I can't make summaries due to the fact that I probably give too much away :') Anyways thanks so much if you give the story a shot. 
*Disclaimer: I literally have written two stories before on HH and I have never been able to actually finish them due to school, writer's block, and lack of motivation. So I will not guarantee daily or maybe even weekly updates or the completion of this story. Sorry in advance

Promise
Chapter One
“Oh God”, Isabella Davis groans, jumping out of bed, her hand clutching her stomach as she runs to the bathroom. She falls to her bare knees, holding onto the toilet rim and emptying out her stomach.
Sniffling, she wipes away the vomit from her mouth, while flushing the toilet.
Oh how she hates morning sickness.
She grabs her messy hair, tying it into a low ponytail, before grabbing her toothbrush and squeezing a fair amount of toothpaste on it, before brushing her teeth and tongue.
After glancing at the clock hanging just above the bathroom door, she notices it’s 5 AM.
“It’s too early again.” She thought, spitting out the toothpaste and then proceeding to turn on the shower.
Isabella strips out of her cartoon printed cow pajamas, before entering into the steamy warm water. She closes her eyes, enjoying the nice feeling of the running water splashing all over her body.

Isabella contemplated on what outfit to wear today, as she sat on her bed and stared at her closet.
She realized that she was getting a little bit chubbier lately, but it was okay because of her pregnancy.
Isabella smiled, rubbing small circles on her belly, the baby bump noticeable after five months.
Suddenly, the constant meows and scratching of a door was heard, making Isabella smile whilst walking towards the front door of her apartment.
She opened the door, seeing the familiar face of the black and white stray cat, sitting patiently on the mat outside the door.
“Hello Judy.” Isabella smiled, crouching down and rubbing Judy’s ears and back. “I assume you’re here for your daily breakfast.”
Judy meowed, rubbing her head against Isabella's bare leg. Giggling, she stood up, making her way to the kitchen, while Judy followed closely behind.
She grabbed the cat food bag from one of shelves before filling a bowl. She then proceeded to fill another bowl up with fresh bottled drinking water.
“Come here girl.” Isabella smiled, placing both bowls down onto the floor as Judy instantly scampered to them.
“I should start getting ready now,” she mumbled to herself, making her way to the front door and closing it.
After a troublesome time of Isabella trying to fit into her old clothes due to her evident weight gain, she finally decided on a pair of mom jeans and a simple floral blouse.
She tittered, realizing that the floral blouse made her baby bump much more evident due to it being a little tight against her body.
On other days she would try covering up her baby bump with oversized clothes due to the fact that she didn’t like all the attention she received from most people. But today, she felt a sudden boost of confidence in her body and in what she was wearing.
Isabella smiled, finishing her simple makeup routine, before moving on to brush her straight brown hair. She stood in front of her floor length mirror, appreciating herself.
“Pretty.” She smiled, grabbing her Vans as well as the beautiful gold heart necklace that her boyfriend, Jayden, gave her on their first anniversary two years ago.
Isabella smiled brightly, securing the necklace around her neck, loving the way it suited her appearance.
As she was tying her shoelaces, she heard the doorbell ring.
Squealing in excitement, she quickly dashed to open the front door, being met with the grinning face of her loving boyfriend, Jayden.
Beaming with enthusiasm, she wraps her arms around his waist, inhaling the familiar scent of his cologne.
She hears Jayden chuckle, as he pecked her forehead. “Morning Bella. How are you feeling today?”
“I’m feeling good right now. I still get the morning sickness, but it’s part of the whole pregnancy discomforts.” Isabella answered, feeling Jayden’s warm hands rub gentle circles on her belly.
“The baby bumps much more evident now." He smiled warmly, “It’s cute.”
Isabella blushed, grabbing his hand and leading him back into her apartment after closing the door behind her.
“Did you already eat?”, she asked once in the kitchen.
“Mhmm no. Can I get some of the ramen you have here?” Jayden smiled, eyeing the Maruchan instant ramen noodles on top of the refrigerator.
“Go ahead. I’mma just drink my strawberry smoothie." Isabella said, grabbing the leftover homemade strawberry smoothie she made yesterday.
“So how’s your job going?” Isabella asked, sitting down on a chair as she drank the smoothie.
“It’s been a little hectic lately. A lot of files need to be organized. And there's always drama with the workers. It’s pretty stressful most of the time.” Jayden answered as he poured his freshly made ramen onto a bowl.
“It does sound stressful from what I hear. But you're an awesome worker who always does his best on the job. It's amazing that your dad recently promoted you and now you’re the manager of the company. You’ll do such an amazing job, love. I just know it.” Isabella smiled proudly making Jayden chuckle as he gazed into her eyes.
“I love you so much babe.” He smiled admiringly, making her giggle.
“I love you too Jay." Isabella brightly smiled, pecking his cheek.

“I’mma go change into my work attire and freshen up.” Jayden smiled, making his way into the bathroom.
Isabella nodded using one hand to scroll through her Instagram feed, while the other rested on her baby bump.
She chuckled seeing the adorable recent post of her best friend Piper and her beautiful girlfriend, Maria.
"They are such a beautiful couple." Isabella smiled, seeing the loving atmosphere around them as they posed for the camera.
The sound of a door closing brought Isabella back into focus, as she looked up and saw Jayden walk up to her whilst tying his tie.
She felt her eyes widen as she admired his muscular figure. The black pants hugged his muscular thick thighs tightly, whilst the white shirt's buttons looked like they were struggling staying on due to his broad chest and shoulders.
"You done staring babe?" She heard Jayden say whilst smirking in amusement.
"What? Oh pffftt. I wasn't." She nervously chuckled getting up from the comfy couch. "But you really do look handsome."
"You're so cute." Jayden smirked as he leaned down, kissing her pretty plump lips, making Isabella's face grow hot.
After a few seconds of the pair kissing, Isabella pulled away, grabbing Jayden's hand.
“We should start heading out now. I don’t want you to be late to work”, she smiled, grabbing her black bag and heading towards the door, until she felt her wrist being pulled back.
“Wait Bella, are you going out like that?” Jayden suddenly asked, his eyes focused on her whole body.
Isabella smiled brightly. “Yeah. I feel pretty and this is my favorite blouse. It was my-”
“I thought that was an old shirt that you weren't planning on wearing out. I don’t know Bella. I think you should cover up a little more. I mean it fits you a little too tight and it makes you look a little… fat. Don’t you think?”
Isabella felt her eyes widen at his comment, as she awkwardly looked down at herself.
“I mean it’s because of the pregnancy weight gain.. I think I look okay like this.” She slightly smiled, hoping Jayden would drop the whole conversation and agree.
“Listen babe, you’re beautiful. You really are.” Jayden smiled as he grabbed Isabella’s chin softly. “But truthfully, you have gained a lot of weight recently and I don’t think it best suits your appearance. Just wear a sweater over your shirt or something, I don’t know. Do cover yourself a little more please.”
Isabella felt tears welling up in her brown eyes at his words, but she blinked them away and nodded, laughing.
“Okay. I think you’re right. I have gained a lot of weight and I guess I do look fat now. I’m sorry. I’ll just go put on a sweater. I’ll be back”, she slightly smiled, quickly walking away and into her room.
She rummaged through her closest trying to find a sweater that wasn’t too fuzzy since today’s temperature was going to be a little on the warmer side.
Isabella felt a few sneaky tears slide down her rosy cheeks, feeling her chest tighten remembering Jayden’s words.
“He’s right”, she thought, “I do look fat and ugly now.”
It wasn’t the first time that Jayden made remarks about her body, but today it hurt her more because she was feeling confident in her body and clothes.
"What was I thinking?! Why did I think I looked pretty with my choice of clothes today?!" She thought, angrily wiping her tears away.
She suddenly felt self conscious again.
Isabella grabbed the oversized baby blue sweater she had towards the back of the closet, putting it on, and zipping it up.
She sighed, taking out the necklace to display on the sweater instead of on the blouse she wanted to wear.
Wiping the remaining tears away, fixing her makeup, and forcing a genuine smile on her face, she walked out of her room and into the living room to where Jayden was petting Judy’s back.
“The stray cat’s here again. I guess it likes all the free food you give it.” Jayden chuckled making Isabella roll her eyes.
“She's not an it. Her name’s Judy and she has no home. She just likes spending some time here away from the outside world.” Isabella said, grabbing her bag.
She felt Jayden's green eyes on her, making her self consciously play with her fingers while biting her inner lip, as she anxiously waited for his comments.
He walked up to her, grabbing her chin and looking into her eyes.
“I think you look better Bella.” Jayden smiled, pecking her lips in the process.
“We should start heading now. My classes at my college will almost start.” Isabella said, ignoring his comment, as she walked to the front door, opening it.
She felt Judy’s head rubbing against her leg, as she slightly crouched down, rubbing her ears.
“I’ll see you soon Judy." Isabella chuckled as Judy closed her eyes, melting into her touch.
Judy meowed, before strolling out of the apartment and soon disappearing around the corner.
Isabella slightly gasped, feeling Jayden’s hand around her butt, as he cheekily smiled.
“I do like how your <rear> is still the perfect size", he smirked.
Isabella awkwardly smiled, closing and locking the door behind her, as she enjoyed the cool morning breeze that made her hair flow back.
“Let’s just go now.” She slightly smiled, as they both walked towards Jayden’s black Volvo.
