So I've redone Luna's cage a couple times now and I'm not quite happy with it. Here's a picture

I'm thinking about getting a few new things for her such as multichamber hides, bc she doesn't have one, but I'm not quite sure. Any ideas on what I should do to make it more enriching?

Thanks!

I would recommend a larger flying saucer because the mini can hurt hamsters backs. I would recommend at least an 7" for dwarves and a 10 inch for Syrians. Another thing I would recommend is a cork tunnel in the middle, and maybe a piece of wood like grapevine or another safe wood to climb on. Texture is also great so maybe sand, cork granules or ecoearth. Hope this helps!

The only reason that I keep the flying saucer is because instead of running on it, she runs in circles on it. But I might just get rid of it anyway, just to make sure. And I do have some said in the back left corner, I have some eco earth, but I have yet to put it in. :) Should I get a multichamber hide or possibly another platform?

Yesterday, I also got some tiles to put on the platform, since sometimes it gets warm.

Yeah I would at least get the multichamber hide because all my hamsters and mice have loved them. You also can make them out of cardboard or a shoebox to save money.

I don't know how much bedding you have right now, but especially if she's a syrian, maybe more bedding? Works well to enrich my syrian female, she spends a lot of time burrowing:)

I just redid it and she has about 9" of bedding. She's a robo :)))

Amazing! Then i think it looks great:)
If you're able to, maybe a bigger sand area? I think a robo would really enjoy :) But like it is right now is good too!
Im sure she loves it :)

I agree with others that a larger saucer and sand area would be good. If possible, more bedding on the left side, even it’s not necessary, would be great. Also, I love the glass jar on the right (where’s from? 0-0)!

Ok! I added more bedding and a large sand/coco fiber area. And I got the glass container from an estate sale! (you can find so many great things for cheap)

Also, do you think I should add another platform? Or is it ok how it is. Because I have one platform but the rest is kind of flat if you know what I mean.

Like the others said I agree with a bit more bedding if you're able (though 9" is definitely still nice!!) and having a larger sand area. Typically people recommend at least 1/4th of the enclosure being sand for roborovskis but that differs depending on the enclosure. My robo used her sand bath very often.

But I'd also recommend crowding the enclosure up a bit more. Especially in the middle, it feels as if all the items are just around the edges and the middle is kinda a big open space. I'd add some more hides there, maybe grapevine branches, cork logs, etc. Just anything really. Adding in some sprays would also look nice and be a good foraging opportunity.

About the platform, I think it's alright either way. If you wanted to add a platform that would allow you a sandbath on the platform you could do that. Or just a platform for elsewhere stuff. Or again, no platform at all. It's up to you~

Edit: Apparently I can't read and I just read that you already added in the more bedding and sand area, so just ignore that part of my post I suppose :p

I'm also looking for some not too expensive sprays for her. I'm growing my own too but that'll take a while.
