I was just wondering where i can get most of these things? a pharmacy might be best but i honestly dont know about the honey and stuff. Are Bayer Keto-Diastix and Chlorhexidine chemicals or something? Would they be in like a large chain/grocery store? Is Pedialyte something to get from a petstore or what?? Thanks!! Posted Image

Manuka honey?
You might be able to find that in most big food stores, and also in health-food shops :)

This is a fabulous list and very helpful.
I can think of a couple more things thought.

Salt, for cleansing wounds. warm salt water can sting but it's better in the long run.
Also pinches of salt and sugar are good in water for rehydration in case someone cannot get pedialyte. I think Miss Pixy has the proper amounts somewhere.

And cider vinegar for stings in case so antihistamine lotion is available, or out of date. And can be used to clean wounds as well i believe.

Hi! good to see you pop in to say hello!

Yes, the "home-made pedialyte" rehydration formula is:

1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tbsp sugar
1 cup warm water

stirred, then taken up in a 1.0ml oral syringe. goal is to get hamster
to take 1.0ml over the course of an hour, in approximately 0.05ml
mouthfuls every 5-7 minutes.

some hamsters will take the whole 1.0ml on their own with the first
offering, which is fine. in this scenario, take up more of the formula
and see how much more you can get your hamster to drink.

a good eyedrop to have on hand for general cleaning is the
bausch & lomb eye irrigating/eye wash. this is a human eye
drop but safe for hamsters and easy to find at most pharmacies.

don't get any drops that are for "redness" or red eye issues.
