nickname: only goes by jack. will silently cry if you call him anything else. oh but his love interest will probably call him something dumb like 'my lovely idiot' because i would do the same. i only treat my characters with respect and the most respect everr.
name meaning: 'supplanter.' i kinda had to search the meaning of 'supplanter' up because,, what. "a supplanter takes over or takes the place of someone else, usually on purpose. if usurping thrones is your thing, then maybe you have a future as a supplanter." this is literally the opposite of jack LMAO. i just chose it because it sounded like some stupid royal name, y'know? plus it's french and fancy so...

pitch of voice: medium-high, can choke on his words when he's not thinking hard enough. which barely happens but if he's with somebody he's comfortable with.. cannot speak.
accent or languages spoken: has an american accent, but has an impressive poshy british accent. also speaks a bit of french due to many of the library books being in french.
personality
favourite phases: whenever sometimes goes horribly bad he either blurts out 'holy [shoot]' or just thinks it very, very hard. i'll have to think a lot more about this pfft.
brief personality description: brief???? never heard of her. jack's not like other girls.. i'm going through this the wrong way 100%. let's start this up again. jack's always afraid, constantly, but never shows it. one weird look and he's sent into a spiral. his childhood definitely didn't help it. he's a bit of a perfectionist, trying to reach expectations that he'd never be able to reach in the first place. definitely has a cold attitude, gets pretty [cheesed] easily, tries not to show any weakness or vulnerability because wow who would want that?? now i'm starting to notice how big of a difference his father left him... poor dude. if you can get through his tough exterior, you'll just find a scared sensitive guy who is a sucker for affection and is just,, trying his best. he's determined, he's passionate, but he's also pretty darn lost in the world too. but he's trying, and that's what matters,, right?
flaws: a lot ruder than necessary at first,, man / a lot more distrusting than he needs to be / easily frightened

i actually might finish this story.. despite being only 2 and a half chapters in anyway. i mean it's almost 5k words so that's something to celebrate lmaooo.
