My absolute favorite store is Coco :)

I have two favorite drinks that I always drink, but I'll tell you the one I've been drinking recently.

Bubble Gaga, Cold with no ice, 30% sugar. It contains Tapioca, Coconut jelly, and Basil seeds so there's no need to ask them to add it again. I absolutely love Tapioca and Coconut jelly as a pair, but I also love basil seeds so this is basically my dream drink. I love the fruity flavour with a tea - ish aftertaste.

Interesting, I've never actually tasted much store bought boba.

We've always made our own from this sticky rice substance with hot water and rolled them into balls.

Well, I guess I'll join the club.  :winter:

I just need to tell you about the sad story, of ABUSED BOBA TEA!

Ok, so me and my family where out in town having a walk with my little chubby dog. Its was past lunch and I hadn't got any food, there is this place in my town called "little lotus" and its Japanese/Chinese/Korean and has like the BEST SUSHI IN THE WHOLE OF MY TOWN (the only other sushi is basically the one from Tesco's) so I went in there and bough a rice cup and was like "wait they sell... BOBA?!?!" I had no idea which flavour I wanted so my parents were just like "get strawberry"so I got that. It too 10 minutes to make, and it was DE-SCUS-TING it tasted like the smell of Smiggle/Claire's strawberry lip gloss/ stationary and the boba was like a rock *nightmares "so very hard and chewy" * and there was milk tea and fruit tea.

Also if we are saying really good places, then there is this little local Vietnamese shop in my town, and it literally makes delicious boba. I am asking for tapioca pearls for my birthday along with matcha!

hee~ and I was worried no one would want to join!

My favourite toppings for bubble tea would have to be the brown sugar tapioca pearls, the coconut jelly thingies and lychee, mango or passion fruit popping bubbles

ooooh I remember where I used to live, whenever we had a school fair, my class would sell homemade bubble tea and everyone always loveeeeeed it. I'vee never tried it though... :( How hard is it to make?

And that sounds so good. I haven't had store bought bubble tea in so long!!! *cries*

For my b-day I got a box of DIY bubble tea stuff and it has saved me, though I have to admit the flavoured tea part is not the most authentic tasting...  :undecided:   Perhaps I shall write a review

There is a China town near me (it's actually really far, but.... worth it), so I get to go every once in a while. There they have a Chatime  :starry-eyed:

Anyways that sounds good too :yummy:  :yummy:  :yummy:  :yummy:

It's pretty easy, just 2 ingredients. Tapioca starch and hot water, mix 'em together to form balls and you throw them in a pot of boiling water. Drain them and throw them in some milk tea (put a tea packet into milk).
