making bubble tea actually isnt that hard....

 

you can buy tapioca pearls in different sizes from your local asian market, i usually get it from the korean or chinese stores.

you just boil them, make the tea and put it together!

 

alternatively, like chip ^^ said, you can mix tapioca starch and water. I usually do a 70:30 ratio, it seems to work alirght

It's pretty easy, just 2 ingredients. Tapioca starch and hot water, mix 'em together to form balls and you throw them in a pot of boiling water. Drain them and throw them in some milk tea (put a tea packet into milk). 

Can you just get tapioca starch at any supermarket? That's actually so easy!

oh my goodness i've never had bubble tea and it's not sold anywhere within 3-4 hours of me.... is it as good as it sounds :P

I actually think you might be able to get your hands on them.    They probably would be more common in an Asia market, but I found a bag on Amazon.

Yh, I'm buying my pearls too   I've never seen them in the asian supermarkets though .... ;(

Haha no I think we use the glutinous rice powder thing for rice related recipes. (Same brand tho)

But fist, I must confess. I hate tapioca balls. I only like popping bubbles-you can drink your boba than squish your tongue on the balls, they pop and its amazingggg. I'm working on making my own boba, but for now I'll spend 4 dollars on an extra large glass, thank you very much

What!?    Woah, have you tried them before? Or did you go to a place like the one Agirl talked about... But of course you can join!!! open to everyone

 

Yh, I actually disliked popping boba the first time I tried it because I got sick because of it    Now I love them though    Especially after I had a mint milkshake with chocolate popping bobas. Mmmmmmmmm You have to try that.
